		<description>[...] Seminar by Hideo Numata (6th Dan) of Aikido Kenkyukai International (AKI), Japan Ralph Pettman (5th Dan) of the Victoria University AKI club and Matt Tebbs (2nd Dan) of the Riai Aikido Association, are proud to host a special seminar by Hideo Numata Sensei (6th Dan), a leading exponent of the free-flowing, research style of aikido, as taught by Yoshinobu Takeda Shihan (recently awarded an 8th Dan by the Aikikai Honbu). For a book about Takeda’s unique style see here  Numata Sensei has his own dojo in Tokyo. He gave a seminar at the Lynch dojo in Auckland in Feb. 2004, at the Wellington Riai dojo in April 2005. He represents Takeda Shihan (who has also visited New Zealand twice).
